Sarah Doyle Postpartum Doula

Sarah Doyle, LCCE, CD(DONA), CLC

I'm Sarah and I'm happy you're here!

My doula career started with my passion for all things birth and babies and continued because of my love for helping new parents to bloom.

Years ago, as I prepared for my own pregnancy, I discovered the gap between the support that growing families need, and what they actually receive. I decided to combine my passion for newborns and their families, with my skill set as a clinical social worker, to become a doula.

Now I bridge the knowledge and support gap so more families can have the experience they desire. Every parent deserves to feel prepared, heard, and confident. I’m honored to be Oviedo's birth coach and baby-whisperer, making sure families receive the care they deserve.

A little more about me...

When I decided to become a mother, I was a little too confident in my baby-whispering abilities – so fate (and the fertility specialist) got the last laugh by giving us twins!

Now my husband and I are overjoyed (and overwhelmed) to be caring for our kindergarteners; one headstrong tiny-dancer, and one the ever-singing self-proclaimed ruler of the dinosaurs.

You may run into us at the community garden, breweries, run club, practicing yoga, drinking matcha lattes, strolling around Oviedo listening to audiobooks, at Disney, making lists upon lists, painting, and playing board games.

What has shaped me as a doula...

  • I’m a twin mom. I’ve seen and done it all, day and night, times two.
  • I’ve been a doula since 2017 and have supported over 100 families.
  • I’ve personally experienced loss, infertility and IVF, twin pregnancy, two vaginal births, postpartum and newborn days, parenting a baby through surgeries, and breastfeeding twins for nearly 3 years.
  • I have supported families through all different types of birth (home birth, hospital birth, medication-free, spontaneous labor, inductions, cesareans, VBACs, twin, ).
  • I've worked alongside a variety of health professionals including 17 OBs and 2 midwives and have experienced birth at 8 hospitals as well as many homes.
  • My background as a licensed clinical social worker prepared me to work with families struggling with mental health.
